Description

This contract on-site position offers a unique opportunity to work within the medical practice industry providing high-quality anesthesiology services to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As a Locum AA or CRNA you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care collaborating with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position not only enhances your clinical skills but also allows you to contribute significantly to the healthcare community while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
  • Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and anesthesia standards
  • Respond to emergencies and manage complications during anesthesia
  • Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and risks

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Anesthesia or Nursing (for CRNAs)
  • Valid state certification or licensure as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or Nurse Anesthetist
  • Experience in anesthesia administration and patient care
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and anesthesia techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Level I Trauma

Schedule: 7a-5p 4 days per week

No call or weekend shifts

Patient Volume: 15 per day

Case Types: Adult bread & butter

4:1 medical supervision

EMR: Epic

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
