Applications are invited for appointment asNon-Tenure Track Clinical Associate Professor of Practice in the Division of Periodontology & Implant Dentistry Faculty of Dentistry (Ref: 534808) to commence as soon as possible on a two- to four-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. Fractional appointment may be considered for the suitable candidate.
The Faculty of Dentistry is the only dental school in Hong Kong and the only one in Greater China that uses English as the medium of instruction. The high quality of the Facultys undergraduate and postgraduate programmes research excellence and clinical/professional services have attained global recognition as evidenced by the Facultys global rankings among the top three by the QS World University Rankings by Subject for ten out of the past twelve years (2015-2026). The Facultys strategic research themes include Clinical Artificial Intelligence Craniofacial Regeneration Microbiome Innovation Oral Cancer and Population Oral Health. The Faculty also plays an important role in public and professional education through its knowledge exchange activities as well as in oral health research and promotions in international regional and local communities.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
