Applications are invited for appointment asTenure-Track Clinical Professor in Periodontology of the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 534750) to commence as soon as possible on a four-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second four-year fixed-term contract subject to satisfactory performance. The Faculty of Dentistry is the only dental school in Hong Kong and the only one in Greater China that uses English as the medium of instruction. The high quality of the Facultys undergraduate and postgraduate programmes research excellence and clinical/professional services have attained global recognition as evidenced by the Facultys global rankings among the top three by the QS World University Rankings by Subject for ten out of the past twelve years (2015-2026). The Facultys strategic research themes include Clinical Artificial Intelligence Craniofacial Regeneration Microbiome Innovation Oral Cancer and Population Oral Health. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
