About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Application SupportEngineer to join a Production Support team responsible for ensuringthe stability availability and performance of critical businessapplications.

You will play a key role in incident management systemmonitoring and continuous improvement working closely with DevelopmentInfrastructure and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality ITservices in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Stability &Availability

• Monitor and maintain applications ensuring high availability and performance
• Participate in incident management (P1/P2) RCA and problem resolution
• Identify trends and contribute to long-term solutions
• Execute changes and deployments following ITIL & DevOps practices
• Provide 24/7 support (on-call rotation) for critical systems

Technical Support &Collaboration

• Act as a key contact for Development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to enhance and deploy systems
• Implement upgrades patches and new features with minimal business impact

Documentation &Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain and update technical documentation and runbooks
• Share best practices across global teams

Monitoring &Observability

• Implement and optimize monitoring tools (Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus ELK Jaeger)
• Promote observability practices for proactive issue detection
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define monitoring strategies

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Application Servers & Java: RedHat JBoss EAP performance tuning heap/thread dump analysis
• Cloud & Containers: Kubernetes OpenShift
• Operating Systems: RHEL / Linux
• Monitoring & Observability: Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus ELK Jaeger
• CI/CD & Automation: GitLab Jenkins ArgoCD Nexus Ansible Terraform
• Databases: PostgreSQL MS SQL Server
• Methodologies: ITIL DevOps Agile/Scrum
