The primary function of a Strategic Account Manager is to build customer relationships in Transfusion Medicine space
acquire new customers and retain the existing ones to maximize sales and profitably.
Plan strategy for designated Transfusion Medicine Accounts for the current year as well as for long term
to substantially increase share of business in the TM segment.
Responsible for complete customer mapping. Eg: Identify stakeholder span of business and business potential
Responsible to achieve the top line and bottom line objectives of Accounts
Responsible for the complete sales activity of the Accounts including sales distribution handling supply & control accounting & administration
Ensure the establishment and development of relationship between the organization and the principal customers
Prepare sales forecasts and budget taking into consideration market potential & in line with requirement of the organisation; monitor sales volume and revenues against forecasts to identify problem areas; and re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance.
Monitor and provide continuous feedback on competitors activity to the product management
Responsible for planning for new product launches sales promotion activities etc. along with the marketing deptt
Responsible for KOL Management
Synergise with the Core Team Service and Marketing Deptts to achieve the Organizational Objectives
