Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst / Developer with strong expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to support enterprise data and analytics initiatives. This role involves end-to-end data architecture reporting governance and implementation of AI-driven analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Data & Analytics Architect providing end-to-end expertise across Microsoft Fabric Power BI and Copilot Studio
- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines and trusted data repositories
- Develop semantic models implement DAX and build optimized user-friendly reports
- Perform performance tuning and enforce governance practices (endorsement certification lineage)
- Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents for data Q&A and workflow automation
- Integrate systems using REST APIs with secure authentication (OAuth2/API keys) handling pagination and throttling
- Configure on-premises data gateways and document technical assumptions and limitations
- Leverage Copilot in Power BI for accelerated development and insights
- Promote responsible AI practices including data readiness grounding and evaluation
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Support additional data and analytics initiatives as required
Required Skills
- 5 years of advanced experience in Power BI (modeling DAX performance tuning governance)
- 5 years of experience with APIs for analytics (authentication pagination throttling)
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Workspaces Notebooks Pipelines OneLake SQL Analytics)
- 2 years of experience with Copilot Studio agent design and integrations (Power Automate Dataverse Microsoft Graph)
- Strong understanding of data architecture reporting and analytics best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with RTI/KQL and Activator alerting
- Experience as a technical lead within a Power BI or Microsoft Fabric Community of Practice
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple levels
