**Position Overview**
Looking for an Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a dynamic outpatient clinic within a hospital and surgical blocks setting.
The practice comprises two experienced physicians and caters exclusively to an adult patient demographic. Clinic operations consist of over 95% outpatient care with less than 5% inpatient services.
The facility is equipped with onsite lab and X-ray services featuring 2-3 exam rooms supported by a dedicated ancillary team including one nurse and one receptionist.
The practice utilizes the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system and operates under a Trauma Level I designation. Candidates must reside within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate.
**Qualifications**
- Current Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain)
**Clinical Competencies**
Candidates should possess proficiency in performing a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures including but not limited to:
- Management of arthritis bursitis dislocations and joint pathology
- Treatment of ligament tears bunions and foot/ankle deformities
- Fracture care including non-unions and malunions
- Corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid injections
- Management of frozen shoulder/adhesive capsulitis and impingement syndrome
- Addressing loose or foreign bodies rotator cuff tears and various bone deformities
- Surgical intervention for bone infections and tumors as well as amputation considerations
- Treatment of spinal injuries carpal tunnel syndrome ganglion cysts tendinitis and tendon tears
- Rehabilitative and surgical strategies for kneecap dislocation and cartilage meniscus injuries
- Management of conditions such as tennis or golfers elbow
**Licensure and Certification Requirements**
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility
- Active Ohio state medical license
