Job Summary
Web Designer / Front-End Engineer - Japanese Bilingual
Full-time Entry Level Welcome! Torrance CA (on-site)
About the role
A Japanese IT company engaged in a wide range of technology servicesincluding system development software solutions and website productionis seeking a Web Designer / Front-End Engineer to join its growing team!
In this role you will be involved in the development and maintenance of clients websites and e-commerce sites working closely with designers and team members. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative and friendly work environment!
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites using HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Build websites using platforms such as Webflow and Shopify
- Create and update websites using CMS tools like WordPress
- Implement designs and simple animations based on design specifications
- Ensure responsive design and perform quality checks across devices
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proficiency in Japanese / English is required
- Experience in web design and/or front-end development
*Open to candidates with any level of experience including self-taught or recent graduates!
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
We welcome candidates who have experience or knowledge in any of the following:
- HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- CMS platforms such as WordPress
- Webflow or Shopify
- Adobe tools such as Photoshop / Illustrator
- UI / UX design
*You do not need to have experience in all of the above.
Schedule & Benefits
- MondayFriday on-site (9:00 AM6:00 PM)
- $40000 $60000 per year (depending on experience)
