Responsibilities
Your Role:
The Director of Operations - Heftyreports to the VP Operations and will manage multiple plant operations. The individual will be responsible for the overall direction strategy planning and execution of manufacturing operations. This role is strategic in focus and the individual will be responsible to drive outstanding results while also developing a sustained focus on long-term continuous improvement that consistently produces improved results.

- Build and develop a World Class operations team to include; provide mentoring rigorous development planning for team and succession planning for the operations organization.
- Drive best practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Provide strategic direction and implementation of Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
- Establish management practices that foster a positive safe work environment promotes high morale throughout the organization and encourages teamwork.
- Accountable for all Key Performance Indicators in Safety Quality Productivity and Profitability areas.
- Promote a culture of performance; effectively utilize KPIs performance reviews financial statements and operational reports to track performance. Establish effective action planning for the fostering of a continuous improvement culture.
- In locations where applicable responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- BA/BSdegreeinEngineering Operations or related field.
- 10 years of related professional and progressiveOperations experience.
- Prior team management experience combined with a proven track record of developing coaching and mentoring a diverseand workforce.
- Proven experience in the P&L and budgeting process.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
- A commitment to excellence and continuous improvement with experience in various Continuous improvement Processes and initiatives (i.e. 5S Value Streams Six Sigma TPM)
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
