Job Summary
High School Social Studies Teacher
The ASK Academy (Attitudes Skills and Knowledge) a 6th-12th grade charter school in Rio Rancho New Mexico is a STEM innovation school with a project-based approach to teaching and learning and has been noted as among the top 3% of high schools in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report. The approximately 250 high school scholars follow one of two career pathwaysBiomedical Sciences or Engineering and Design.
The ASK Academy has entered its second decade and is searching for a High School Social Studies Teacher.
Requirements include: NM teaching license with endorsement in social studies experience in high school education is preferred and familiarity with ASKs STEM focus and project-based learning approach.
*Stipend is available for those endorsed in special education.
The position is available for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a benefits eligible position. Staff members at The ASK Academy have preference in the schools student enrollment lottery. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume.
