Job Summary

This role involves testing REST APIs manually and through automation using tools like Postman and REST-Assured(JAVA). It requires validating API functionality error handling JSON structure and performing integration testing across multiple services. The engineer will also be responsible for building API automation frameworks writing assertions validating backend data and running tests through CI/CD pipelines. Core Technical Skills API manual testing using: o Postman o Swagger o cURL API automation using: o REST-Assured (Java) o TestNG / JUnit o JavaScript (SuperTest) Integration testing and multi-service validations JSON XML REST concepts SQL/BigQuery for backend verification Integration Testing (System-to-System Validation) Test interactions between multiple services such as: o API A API B Database o Order Payment Notification systems Validate end-to-end data flow dependencies and business rules. Perform API chaining using output of one API as input for another. Identify issues in middleware service orchestration and data mapping. Validate logs through Splunk / BigQuery / Kibana for integration flows
