Job Summary
Nelspruit area Mpumalanga: Overall management of production department including but not limited to issues pertaining to efficiency productivity staff equipment hygiene health safety and compliance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage weekly packing plans pre-sorting and daily production to meet efficiency and productivity targets.
- Ensure quality control aligns with customer expectations and complies with HACCP/BRC and safety standards.
- Oversee stock control material ordering and availability and investigate delays.
- Execute production plans including calculating material needs and controlling costs.
- Optimise packing processes to achieve capacity and efficiency targets.
- Oversee chemical stock and mixing processes.
- Liaise with maintenance to ensure effective packhouse operations.
- Maintain safe working environments and compliance with safety procedures.
- Manage staff performance including training discipline and employee relations.
- Oversee timesheets attendance and performance evaluations.
- Maintain strong working relationships with staff and management.
- Must be willing to work irregular hours including night shifts.
