Purpose: Innovative Medicine (IM) is recruiting for a JJT Test Automation Manager. This position will be in Bengaluru Karnataka India and plays a critical leadership role and serves as a member of the JJT Deployment Testing team for IM Transcend Program.

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one clean ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

This program will simplify the Pharmaceutical ERP landscape from 7 to 1 standardizing processes to have a cost-effective fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the pharmaceutical business with agility. Additionally the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

We are looking for a strong JJT Test Automation Manager that can craft & lead our automation strategy including planning and execution of end-to-end automated testing cycles. This role will be an active member of the Innovative Medicines Supply Chain JJT team driving global harmonized testing practices and implementation of process improvements and innovative technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a Comprehensive Automation Testing Strategy and Playbook aligned with program objectives timelines and compliance requirements.

• Design develop Implement and maintain a robust scalable Test Automation Framework Integration with Test management tool Process Approach and Key Performance Indicators to measure test efficiency for a large ERP supply chain implementation.

• Coach and Train project team members on the overall program testing automation methodology toolsets and individual aspects of each testing cycle.

• Manage a team of automation consultants professionals and cross-functional resources providing guidance and support.

• Report on Test Automation Development and execution Progress Issues and Defects to project team and senior management.

• Pilot and embrace new AI technologies that drive improvements in testing processes (e.g. test automation accelerators service virtualization end to end automation generative artificial intelligence).

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering/Technology or equivalent academic qualification required

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• 12 years of proven experience developing automation scripts using functional test automation tools developing scalable automation framework and integrating into Test management tool (JIRA-XRAY QTest)

• Certified Tricentis TOSCA Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2

• Knowledge of end-to-end business process linkages across Plan Source Make Deliver Finance and Master Data functions.

• Experience with Agile methodology and strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.

• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams in a global environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills with proven track record of influencing/collaborating to get to desired results.

• Analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with SAP S4/HANA or other similar ERP systems.

Preferred:

• People management experience inclusive of developing mentoring and coaching.

• Experience in the Pharmaceuticals Healthcare and/or Medical Technology industries.

• Experience in a large-scale program driving business transformation.

• Certifications in areas of expertise (e.g. PMP APICS ISTQB Lean Six Sigma etc.).

Other:

• Must be proficient in English language in both written and verbal format.

• Travel required up to 25% national or international.
