Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team. This role involves handling both Indian and US accounting operations ensuring accuracy compliance and timely reporting. You will play a crucial role in managing financial records streamlining transactions and supporting internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Indian Accounting
- Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices reconcile records manage vendor master data (GST) and prepare payment batches.
- Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices track receivables process customer payments resolve discrepancies and monitor aging reports.
- General Ledger: Post journal entries reconcile accounts assist in month-end closing and prepare statutory reports.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements GST & TDS returns and provide insights for decision-making.
- Other: Maintain statutory documentation prepare Import/Export documentation (EDPMS & IDPMS) and stay updated on Indian accounting regulations.
US Accounting
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable for US operations.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation and ensure accuracy of payments and records.
- Liaise with internal teams clients and suppliers to resolve queries.
- Maintain procedural documentation and update ledgers/journals.
- Control credit chase debt and support cash flow management.
- Assist senior accountants with monthly/yearly closings and other accounting projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce Finance or MBA (Finance).
- 25 years of proven experience in accounting (Indian or US).
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles GST & TDS regulations.
- Familiarity with US accounting practices preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks SAP EPICOR).
- Excellent attention to detail analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in English & Hindi (written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
