Job Summary
Copper Quail Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading Renewable Energy IPP for an experienced Wind Development Manager to support the growth of their project pipeline across Africa.
This is a key role focused on driving wind project development from early-stage through to financial close.
Key Responsibilities
Lead greenfield wind project development
Manage acquisition of brownfield projects
Coordinate tender submissions and bid processes
Oversee land legal and development workstreams
Drive new business development across the region
Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of projects
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
5 years experience in wind energy project development
Degree in Engineering Business Economics or related field
Strong experience across development planning tenders and project execution
Solid understanding of the renewable energy regulatory environment
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
