Amazon Ads is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Sales Account Management Italy to lead and grow our Account Management team in one of our key European this senior leadership role you will be responsible for building and developing a high-performing team of Account Managers driving advertiser success retention and accelerating revenue growth across the full suite of Amazon Ads solutions from Sponsored Ads and Display to Programmatic and Premium formats.
You will serve as the senior point of contact for strategic advertisers and agencies in Italy working cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver best-in-class advertising solutions and ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Management Team Lead to manage and develop our Account Management team in Italy for Amazon Ads. This role is critical to driving revenue growth client retention and team excellence across our Italian market. You will lead a team of Account Managers (AMs) who focus on retention and growth of existing revenue with mature advertising accounts.
A day in the life
- Lead and develop a team of Account Managers setting clear goals coaching for performance and fostering a culture of accountability and growth
-Own the Italy AM business driving revenue targets advertiser retention and upsell/cross-sell across Amazon Ads products
-Define and execute go-to-market strategies for key accounts and verticals in the Italian market
- Champion advertising best practices including campaign strategy ad format selection audience targeting and measurement frameworks
-Drive programmatic adoption and AdTech solutions (DSP AMC 1P data activation) among advertisers and agency partners
-Collaborate closely with Sales (AEs) Programmatic Solutions Consultants (PSCs) -Campaign & Creative Managers (CCMs) and cross-functional service teams to deliver integrated client solutions
-Represent Amazon Ads at senior client meetings industry events and agency summits in Italy
- Partner with EU country leads and regional leadership to align on strategy share best practices and contribute to EU-wide initiatives
-Track and report on key performance metrics (GMS YoY growth account coverage deal pipeline) and present insights to senior stakeholders
