Job Summary

On behalf of our valued client - a well-established forex CFDs firm we are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development - East Asia (Mandarin speaking) to lead regional growth initiatives within the online trading and financial technology sector. This role will focus on developing strategic partnerships driving market expansion and leading a high-performing business development team.

Location: Remote - Greater China/Malaysia

Report: C-suit of The group.

Responsibilities:

As a Head of Business Development - East Asia (Mandarin speaking) your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead regional business development strategy to drive partner acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Develop and execute market expansion initiatives aligned with company objectives.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders.

  • Lead mentor and support a team of Business Development Managers to achieve commercial targets.

  • Define and monitor departmental KPIs ensuring consistent performance and measurable outcomes.

  • Identify new partnership opportunities while strengthening existing relationships.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including operations product compliance and support functions.

  • Analyse market trends partner performance and commercial metrics to optimise growth strategies.

  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management regarding regional market development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years in

  • Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance or a related field.

  • Proven experience in Business Development within the online trading fintech or financial services sector.

  • Previous leadership experience managing and developing commercial or partnership teams.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets including forex digital assets or online trading products.

  • Excellent relationship management negotiation and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using performance data to drive decisions.

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required due to the regional market focus.
