Job Summary

Location: Hybrid - Birkirkara Malta (3 days per week in office)
Reporting to Co-Founders

Your mission
  • Lead the establishment and growth of a finance department by developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the companys goals & building and mentoring a team.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and establish comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.

  • Take charge of budgeting and forecasting processes actively monitoring financial performance.

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.

  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements staying updated on changes and adapting policies accordingly.

  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the existing finance team fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Offer strategic advice to the executive team highlighting financial implications and contributing to informed decision-making.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by working closely with other departments understanding their financial needs

  • Cultivate positive relationships with external partners including auditors regulators and financial institutions.

What were looking for:
  • Proven senior financial management experience in the iGaming industry.

  • Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field. A relevant professional qualification with eligibility to sign financial statements in Malta.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills providing valuable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Interest in crypto (this is a must).

  • Bonus points: Proven track record managing the full suite of crypto transactions including crypto swaps FX and treasury flows with practical experience operating and controlling non-custodial wallets.
