Automotive Inventory Specialist
Lindsay Automotive Group a family-owned and multi-brand dealership group in the Washington DC area for 60 years is seeking a highly skilled and technologically driven Vehicle Inventory Managerto join our leadership team.
This is an opportunity to play a critical role in shaping inventory strategy across multiple dealership locations.
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and utilize our state-of-the-art inventory management software
- Generate and manage inventory acquisition profit/loss reports
- Conduct and review monthly reports on over-aged inventory
- Track and analyze historical sales trends
- Project and recommend future inventory mix and acquisition strategies
- Work directly with individual store managers who will report to this position regarding inventory performance
The Vehicle Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing new and used vehicle inventory strategy performance analysis and acquisition planning across all stores. This person will work directly with the individual store managers and coordinate with them regarding inventory performance. They will also be responsible for reporting directly to the executive team and serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and individual store managers. This is a full-time role with full benefits. It is mostly in-person with some opportunities for hybrid work.
Qualifications
- Strong technological skill set (required)
- Advanced proficiency with data analysis reporting tools and software systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strategic thinker with analytical mindset
- No prior automotive experience is required.
