Job Summary
Job Description:
A Civil Supervisor in a construction companyoversees daily on-site operations ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and in compliance with structural quality and safety standards. They manage subcontractors and workers interpret blueprints schedule and coordinate resources.
Core Responsibilities
- Site Supervision:Direct on-site construction activities managing workers and subcontractors to ensure efficiency.
- Quality & Compliance:Ensure all work adheres to engineering drawings specifications building codes and safety regulations.
- Planning & Scheduling:Organize work schedules coordinate labor and manage resources (materials and equipment) to meet deadlines.
- Safety Management:Enforce strict health and safety protocols (PPE compliance) conducting regular inspections to identify hazards.
- Documentation & Reporting:Maintain daily logs track project progress manage and report on material consumption and manpower.
- Problem-Solving:Resolve technical issues design conflicts and resource shortages on-site.
Key Requirements
- Education:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience:Minimum 35 years of experience in site supervision or relevant construction roles.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading blueprints engineering drawings and structural plans.
- Certifications:Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Soft Skills:Strong leadership communication team management and conflict resolution skills.
