JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Were looking for a StarRez expert to help build and strengthen a dedicated support desk function for our growing Student Accommodation portfolio.JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Accountabilities
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 StarRez support across the Australian PBSA portfolio
Troubleshoot complex booking contract logic portal and integration sync issues
Manage the full ticket lifecycle through the service desk ensuring timely resolution and clear stakeholder communication
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades enhancements and module rollouts
Assist with data integrity audits across leasing and financial records
Develop and maintain internal knowledge base documentation and how-to guides
Identify recurring trends and recommend system or process improvements
About You:
You are a technically confident StarRez specialist who understands the full student lifecycle and enjoys solving system logic challenges. You bring strong communication skills and can translate technical solutions into clear guidance for onsite teams.
You are proactive solutions-focused and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining highly collaborative with operational and technology stakeholders.
In addition you bring:
Demonstrated hands on StarRez experience (Web & PortalX essential)
Direct experience within Australian Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) understanding of the student lifecycle in system from application to check out
Demonstrated Level 1 and Level 2 systems support capability
Strong troubleshooting skills particularly diagnosing logic and configuration issues
Experience supporting or participating in UAT and documenting reproducible bugs
Ability to analyse system data for integrity and accuracy
Must be Australia-based with capacity and willingness to travel to site occasionally
