Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workforce System Specialist for a sixmonth fixed term role to address critical knowledge gaps and strengthen integrations across our workforce technology landscape. This projectbased role will focus on reviewing documenting and uplifting integrations between Workday APAY and UKG with the objective of improving data flow accuracy reliability and timeliness across workforce systems.
Working closely with business stakeholders solution architects and business analysts you will translate business and functional requirements and existing system configurations into highquality technical specifications and integration design documentation. You will produce professionallevel documentation that supports current and future integration processes while contributing practical solutions to resolve data and integration challenges.
This role is ideal for a detailoriented systems specialist who enjoys collaborative problemsolving and delivering clear fitforpurpose outcomes within defined project deliverables.
The Position
Translate business and functional requirements and current configuration into comprehensive technical specifications and integration design documents.
Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders solution architects business analysts to identify requirements and overcome technical challenges.
Estimate project effort and provide technical expertise to the project delivery team for the design development and delivery of approved solutions.
Ensure a high degree of version control and change management adherence in line with the team standards policies and guidelines.
Ensure key integration documentation aligns with enterprise architecture security and compliance standards.
Review and update integration design documentation for Workday to aPAY and other direct applications.
Review and update existing data maps and data dictionary as required.
Validate Workday Integrations Register and update as required.
Address and document Workday to aPAY data synchronisation issues e.g. troubleshoot and document system issues.
Develop error messaging solution document risk controls and validation processes.
Actively participate in the Quality Assurance (QA) process by building and executing key tests to ensure all integrations meet established quality standards.
Lead the technical aspects of partnerships by working directly with external partners to meet business and technical standards around integrations.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of current technological developments and trends within integration platforms.
Respond to integration issues failures and alerts as required including provision of out-of-hours support and participate in on-call rotation to handle critical incidents.
Work with project delivery teams to provide accurate effort estimates for designing developing and delivering approved solutions.
You will bring tertiary or relevant professional qualifications complemented by strong practical experience and a minimum of five years handson involvement in application integration governance. You will demonstrate deep technical expertise in Workday software integrations including security and integration frameworks such as EIB Core Connectors and Workday Studio with a proven ability to apply this knowledge to complex workforce system environments.
You will demonstrate strong knowledge and handson experience delivering and supporting integrations between enterprise workforce systems including (but not limited to) aPAY Workday and UKG products. You will bring a solid understanding of Enterprise Application Integration principles such as web services ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA) and EventBased Architecture along with practical experience working with common data transmission protocols including HTTP/HTTPS SOAP REST JDBC and SFTP within complex system environments.
To succeed you will have a proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues perform detailed root cause analysis and implement permanent sustainable corrective actions that enhance system stability and data integrity. You will also possess sound knowledge and practical experience working with databases particularly SQL Server enabling you to analyse data validate integrations and support accurate timely workforce data flows.

Salary: $124196 to $137946 per annum plus 12% superannuation
Fixed-term full-time opportunity
Based from our Perth CBD located at Kings Square
Working from home arrangements available (40%)
