Job Summary
Allied Reliability is seeking Baghouse Technicians responsible for operating inspecting and maintaining industrial baghouse dust collection systems to ensure proper air filtration emission compliance and safe plant operation. The role supports production by maintaining dust control equipment and related mechanical systems.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Baghouse System Operation
Operate and monitor baghouse dust collectors and filtration equipment
Adjust airflow pulse-jet cleaning cycles and system controls
Monitor differential pressure and filter performance
2. Inspection & Maintenance
Inspect baghouse housings fans ductwork and filter bags
Replace or repair filter bags cages and seals
Identify leaks blockages or system failures
3. Preventive Maintenance
Perform scheduled maintenance on:
dust collectors
blowers and fans
rotary valves
air compressors
conveyors and duct systems
Lubricate and service mechanical components
4. Troubleshooting
Diagnose problems such as:
high pressure drop
dust leaks
poor filtration efficiency
fan or airflow issues
Work with maintenance teams to repair equipment
5. Safety & Environmental Compliance
Ensure baghouse systems meet MSHA / OSHA emission standards
Follow lockout-tagout and confined-space procedures
Maintain safe dust control in plant areas
6. Documentation
Record inspections and maintenance activities
Report system issues to supervisors or maintenance staff
Enter data into plant maintenance systems
