Job Summary

Overview

Hayward Holdings Inc. is seeking a motivated Summer Legal Intern to join our in-house Legal Department for Summer 2026. Over the course of this 10-week internship the selected candidate will gain hands-on experience working closely with Haywards legal team on a variety of corporate transactional and compliance-related matters.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical exposure to the day-to-day operations of an in-house legal department at a publicly traded global manufacturing company while collaborating with attorneys and cross-functional business partners across the organization.

Responsibilities

Assist with corporate securities and regulatory compliance matters related to a publicly traded company
Support public company governance activities including preparation and review of governance materials and internal policies
Conduct legal research and assist with matters related to intellectual property protection including trademarks and patents
Support the legal team on employment law matters including policy review and documentation
Review organize and assist in the drafting of commercial contracts and agreements
Assist with legal project management coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel
Perform legal research prepare summaries and support other projects as assigned by the legal team

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) or related legal degree
Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in corporate law commercial transactions or in-house legal work
Ability to work in-person at Haywards Charlotte NC headquarters for the duration of the internship
