Job Summary
Overview
The Solution Engineer is responsible for delivering professional solutions to business stakeholders by translating business process requirements into technical solutions through design implementation testing and training. This role partners closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs build scalable solutions and ensure seamless adoption and support across the organization.
Your Role Responsibilities Heres What Youll Do.
- Design prototype and build business solutions following best practices to meet business needs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Perform business analysis to gather information about business processes and customer needs from key stakeholders composing documentation and presentations for validation and approval.
- Test business solutions and ensure performance is as designed; resolve any issues while safeguarding the security integrity and confidentiality of internal systems and data.
- Document solutions to allow the support team to assist business customers and ensure easy maintenance; transition key information to the support team.
- Develop a plan for the migration of business solutions into environments and support stakeholders throughout the migration process with minimal guidance.
- Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for end users; identify enhancements and processes to evolve product and/or solution functionality.
Role Essentials
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with35 years of experiencein a technical role focused on process and system changes.
- Experienceconfiguring and implementing technical solutions with good knowledge of business analysis and documenting functional requirements.
- Good knowledge ofrelational databasessuch as Microsoft SQL Server andobject-oriented programming languagessuch as C# Apex or Python.
- Demonstrated ability to manageproject scope timelines and customer expectationsappropriately; up to5% travel time required.
- Strongcommunication problem-solving critical thinking and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.

- Project management skillsand change management experience.
- Salesforce knowledgeand citizen developer qualification or willingness to obtain this.
- Prior experience in anoperational roleas a bonus.

- Document solutions to allow support team to support business customers and for easy maintenance; transition key information to support team
- Perform business analysis to assist in gathering information about business process and customer needs from key business stakeholders
- Develop plan for migration of business solution into environments and support stakeholders throughout migration process with minimal guidance
- Compose the documentation and presentation of business analysis and solutions requirements to key stakeholders for validation and approval
- Compose training materials and conduct training sessions for end users with minimal guidance
- Identify enhancements and processes to evolve product and/or solution functionality
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience configuring and implementing a technical solution
- Experience with assigned business applications
- Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Good problem solving critical thinking and analytical skills
- Good collaboration skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Good at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
- Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage project scope compact project timelines and set customer expectations appropriately
- Ability to effectively manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload; effectively communicates project delays to management team and proactively seeks additional customer project work
- Good knowledge of business analysis and documenting functional requirements
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Good knowledge of object oriented programming languages such as C# Apex or Python
- Up to 5% travel time required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
