About the Role:

In this role you will work closely with Directors and senior members of the Litigation team while also collaborating with junior lawyers and support staff. The position is hands-on and client-facing providing you with the opportunity to take ownership of matters while receiving mentorship from experienced litigators.

You will be involved in all aspects of litigation including case preparation strategy client communication and court proceedings. This role offers excellent exposure to a wide range of disputes and the opportunity to build your own professional profile within the legal industry.

Key areas of litigation you will work on include:

• Contract disputes and enforcement matters
• Insolvency and bankruptcy
• Employment disputes
• Defamation matters
• Intellectual property litigation
• Building and construction disputes
• Shareholder director and partnership disputes
• Debt recovery matters
• Property disputes

You will manage your own matters communicate directly with clients and collaborate closely with colleagues across the disputes and litigation team.

Clients range from individuals and local businesses to SMEs high-net-worth individuals ASX-listed companies and major institutions offering exposure to sophisticated legal work and diverse legal challenges.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) in litigation
• Demonstrated experience across general litigation matters
• Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues clients and support teams
• Strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service and results
• Motivation to develop your professional reputation and personal practice
• Proactive mindset with initiative energy and willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail
