Wills and Estates Lawyer

About the Role:

In this role you will work closely with clients to provide advice on estate planning estate administration and estate disputes. You will manage files from initial consultation through to resolution while supporting clients through important and often sensitive legal matters.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters while developing strong client relationships and collaborating with an experienced legal team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and reviewing wills testamentary trusts powers of attorney and enduring guardianship documents
  • Providing general estate planning advice tailored to client needs
  • Managing estate administration matters including probate and letters of administration
  • Representing clients in estate disputes and litigation matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and ongoing support
  • Collaborating with other legal professionals and stakeholders when required
  • Managing multiple matters simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
  • Admission as a solicitor in New South Wales
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Wills and Estates law
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and legal principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
