Wills and Estates Lawyer

About the Role:

In this role you will manage a broad range of wills and estates matters from initial client consultation through to final resolution. You will work with a supportive and experienced team while also playing a key role in supervising junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising clients on estate planning wills and succession strategies
  • Managing estate administration matters from start to finish
  • Handling complex and contested estate matters with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Providing strategic legal advice to clients and guiding them through sensitive matters
  • Supervising mentoring and delegating work to junior team members
  • Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining excellent client service standards

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in Wills and Estates
  • Strong experience in estate planning and estate administration
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and contested estate matters concurrently
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience supervising delegating and mentoring junior staff
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills
