Key responsibilities for this role include:

Support initiatives within the Research and Development Chemistry laboratory.

Operating laboratory equipment including but not limited to analytical balance pH meter dissolution apparatus and UV spectrophotometers under the direction of a supervisor.
Prepare solutions (i.e. buffers mobile phases diluents) and samples are per procedures.
Calculate raw data by calculator or computer.
Assist in the calibration and record keeping of laboratory equipment.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory.
Assist the stability management team as needed.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a science based degree program Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Must possess basic knowledge of chemistry.
Must be able to work with complex laboratory equipment chemicals and fragile glassware.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks successfully.
Must possess basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The salary range for this position is: If pursuing Bachelors degree $20.00/hour; if pursuing Masters degree $25.00/hour; if pursuing Doctorate Degree $30.00/hour.
