Description
This is a contract position that requires an on-site presence offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical practice setting.
In this role you will be instrumental in providing high-quality healthcare to patients with hematological and oncological conditions. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing patient treatment plans as well as in patient education and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Experience in Hematology and Oncology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of patient management systems and electronic health records
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 3-4 days per week 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: 5-6 patients
Hematology and BiTE therapy patients with solid tumors
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
