This contract on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within a dynamic medical practice setting.
As a Locum MD in Plastic Surgery you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical interventions and patient management. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients while contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and consultations
- Perform a variety of plastic surgery procedures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay informed about advancements in plastic surgery techniques
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and recovery
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
- Board certification in Plastic Surgery
- Associate level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong surgical skills and a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Texas
Schedule: 9-hour day shifts 2-4 days per week
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Setting: Clinic and OR
Daily Volume: 16 clinic patients or 3-5 surgeries
Duties: Breast reconstruction combo cases with breast surgery consults and follow-ups
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
