The Opportunity

A newly created position the Business Development Manager will report into the NZ Marketing Manager and will be primarily responsible for driving product sales and adoption across New Zealand from our Biosurgery portfolio via a combination of outstanding product and procedural expertise value added services and a deep understanding of Patient Blood Management and Haemostasis Optimisation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and driving the sales process playing a lead role in executing surgeon conversions via the Biosurgery strategy and meeting sales targets across the country to grow market share
  • Working with Marketing Sales Leadership and Sales Teams nationally to identify prioritise and action surgeon conversion plans and working in collaboration with the local Sales Team from beginning to the point of final handover to local teams for business as usual
  • Assisting in formulating and delivering training and support for customers wider Biosurgery Team and other internal and external groups as necessary or as determined by the NZ Marketing Manager
  • Maintaining ongoing relationships and planned regular contact with surgeons converted providing troubleshooting and ongoing support as required
  • Working with NZ Marketing Manager to formulate and deliver local and national marketing education and other demand generation activities

About You

  • Degree qualified with strong sales experience within the Surgical space and previous experience within the operating theatre
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the local market and with an in-depth understanding of Patient Blood Management and Haemostasis Optimisation
  • Demonstrated track record of strong commercial achievements and motivation to grow the business and market share
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build long-term relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team a positive can-do attitude and strong organisation and time management skills
