Business Group Leader – NZ Business Advisory

Reporting to the APAC Business Advisory Leader this is a key leadership role responsible for driving the growth and development of NZ Business Advisory capabilities. Pivotal to this is the ability to develop and deliver against agreed strategic objectives for Business Advisory and your Region enabling sustainable organizational growth and performance.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of related industry trends ability to respond to client needs with a focus on enhancing service offerings and integrated solutions across region.

Who are we looking for

Were looking for a Business Group Leader to join our NZPac team.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Lead the NZ Business Advisory team to deliver business results in accordance with the agreed targets.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Project Directors to deliver superior client service and financial performance that meets GHDs expectations and manage GHDs risks.
• Champion and lead collaboration with Advisory BGLs and colleagues throughout the region and wider enterprise to effectively plan and resource projects and pursuits and deliver best in class solutions for our clients.
• Coach and mentor the Business Group team including performance coaching.
• Support and coach Team Leaders enabling them to engage and develop their teams to drive a high-performance culture.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of GHDs people and visitors within the Business Group.
• Contribute to GHDs brand in the in the region through collaboration with Marketing.
• Work with Technical Service Leaders develops short and long-term capability informing the acquisition of skills to support future growth.
• Work closely with the Regional Market Leaders and Sector Leaders to support the development and execution of market strategies and client pursuit plans.

What you will bring to the team:

• Proven track record in a business group or team leader role business consulting is an advantage and includes best practices in professional services.

• Strong leadership peopleand stakeholder management skills with experience leading virtual teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

• Ability tothink strategically across market sectors while also managing day-to-day operations.

• Experience in leveraging technology and innovation to drive growth.

• Well-developed relational skills and strong personal/professional network
• Effective and proven business development networking and client relationship management skills.

This role can be based in any of our GHD NZ based offices.
