As we scale our social media presence were looking for someone who is excited to help execute high-performing short-form content and support the growth of our social platforms.

About the Role

We are looking for a full time highly capable Social Media Coordinator who will support the execution and growth of our short-form video ecosystem specifically YouTube Shorts TikTok and Facebook while also supporting Instagram content scheduling and community engagement.

This role blends hands-on content creation with platform-level execution.

You will not simply post content. You will help implement high-performing content systems that drive awarenessengagementand sales.

You will work closely with our Brand Manager who sets overall brand and campaign direction. Youare responsible forhelping translate that direction into platform-native content that performs.

This role is full time and based hybrid between our Mornington HQ and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Ownership Areas

Platform Execution (YouTube Shorts TikTok Facebook)

  • Support the execution of growth strategies across short-form platforms
  • Assist in implementing content pillars for each platform
  • Identifytrends and platform opportunities
  • Support development of repeatable content formats
  • Assist with platform-specific KPIs
  • Contribute to testing frameworks (hooks formats CTAs cadence)

Content Creation & Execution

  • Film and edit short-form video content
  • Repurpose long-form or campaign content into short-form
  • Write platform-native captions and hooks
  • Schedule and manage posting cadence across platforms
  • Schedule Instagram posts and stories according to the marketing calendar
  • Execute content calendars aligned to campaign strategy
  • Support reactive or trend-based content opportunities

This role requires speed attention to detail and consistency in execution.

Campaign Translation

Working alongside the Brand Manager you will:

  • Translate campaign messaging into platform-ready content
  • Adapt hero creative into short-form variations
  • Support content rollouts for product launches
  • Ensure consistency of voice and positioning across platforms
  • The Brand Manager sets the campaign narrative and you help translate it into content that performs across each platform.

Community Engagement

You will support daily engagement across our social channels.

  • Monitorand respond to comments and messages across social platforms
  • Respond to tagged customer content and repost relevant content to stories
  • Engage with the community to support brand loyalty and advocacy
  • Escalate customer service issues to theappropriate internalteams
  • Strong community engagement helps strengthen brand trust and customer relationships.

WhatWereLooking For:

Essential Skills:

  • 13 years managing TikTok Instagram YouTube Shorts or Facebook accounts
  • Strong understanding of short-form video platforms
  • Basic filming and editing skills (CapCut Premiere Pro etc.)
  • Understanding of short-form content trends and platform behaviour
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow a content calendar and execute consistently
  • Proactive reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ecommerce experience
  • Experience supporting organic content alongside paid media
  • Experience working with founder-led or brand-led businesses
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting
