Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist (ST) to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting. The role involves collaborating closely with a dynamic team of therapists nurses and other healthcare professionals to support residents communication and swallowing needs.
Requirements

Licensure: Must hold a currently active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in California.

Experience: Less than 1 year acceptable; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Certifications: Standard ST licensure required; additional certifications (e.g. ACLS BLS PALS NRP) are a plus.

EMR: Experience with PointClickCare or Nethealth preferred but training and mentoring provided.
Key Responsibilities

Assess develop and implement individualized speech language and swallowing treatment plans.

Collaborate with other therapists (PT OT) and nursing staff to coordinate patient care.

Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately in EMR.

Mentor and support newer or less experienced staff as needed.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance resident outcomes.
Work Environment

Skilled Nursing Facility with multiple units including sub-acute and memory care.

Work alongside a team of 20 therapists in a collaborative environment.

Flexibility for part-time at one location or full-time split between two locations.
