Occupational Therapist Outpatient Clinic Sonoma Valley Hospital Sonoma CA 8-Week Contract July August .: $85/hr Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week Sonoma Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an 8-week travel contract in their outpatient rehabilitation clinic. This role will support a primarily musculoskeletal patient population including a strong focus on post-operative care. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys outpatient ortho hands-on treatment and working in a collaborative rehab setting in beautiful Sonoma California. Position Details: 8-week contract covering July and August Outpatient clinic setting Monday Friday schedule 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 32 guaranteed hours per week Includes one hour of paid documentation time Primarily MSK/orthopedic patient population Fair amount of post-operative cases Some wound care related to post-op patients Splint fabrication and modification required Requirements: Active Occupational Therapist licensure Outpatient orthopedic/MSK experience strongly preferred Experience with post-operative rehab Splint fabrication and modification experience Wound care experience preferred CHT certification preferred but not required Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is confident in an outpatient clinic environment comfortable treating orthopedic and post-operative patients and experienced with splinting needs. A Certified Hand Therapist would be highly preferred but strong outpatient OT experience will also be considered. Location Highlight: Sonoma California offers a beautiful Northern California setting known for its wine country scenic views charming downtown and proximity to the Bay Area.
