Performs highly complex administrative support to the President on executive-level operational matters. Interacts and resolves issues which may be sensitive confidential in nature and of high visibility. Acts as liaison between global leadership internal senior management and external business partners.JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a broad range of executive office duties in accordance with departmental guidelines and governance standards.
Exercises a high degree of independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the President and Leadership.
Acts as an extension of the President managing priorities inbox requests and information flow to optimize executive effectiveness and decision making.
Coordinates handles and resolves issues independently and proactively seeking guidance and direction of the Leader as appropriate.
Plans schedules and coordinates meetings conferences travel arrangements and maintains the Leaders business calendar. Will also support SVPs with expenses and travel.
Coordinates executive events leadership offsites town halls and high profile internal or external engagements in partnership with Communications and other stakeholders.
Supports and tracks cross functional initiatives on behalf of the President ensuring follow up accountability and timely completion.
Supports governance related activities including preparation for Board executive leadership and enterprise committee meetings ensuring materials logistics and follow ups are managed effectively.
Supports external engagements involving regulators brokers industry partners and other high profile stakeholders including coordination preparation and follow up.
Represents Leadership professionally in all internal and external interactions.
Attends meetings seminars etc. and records notes or provides information as needed.
Independently composes and distributes correspondence memos and other complex documents and reports which require the use of office technologies and advanced software applications.
Establishes relationships with all business partners to facilitate effective transactions.
Establishes appropriate filing systems expenses and retention schedules for documents and ensures maintenance.
May perform additional duties as assigned including urgent or sensitive matters requiring discretion.
Skills Knowledge and Abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including professional etiquette.
Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous high pressure and high visibility environments.
Exceptional organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners.
Ability to work independently and proactively.
Strong knowledge of the insurance industry and the business unit.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business related software systems.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent desirable.
Typically a minimum of ten years of progressively senior executive administrative experience

The base salary range for this position is $85000 to $110000 complemented by a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to help our employees and their family members achieve their physical financial emotional and social wellbeing goals. Base salary determinations are based on various factors including but not limited to relevant work experience skills certifications and location.
