About the Role
As a Psychology Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons that help students develop a strong understanding of psychological theories research methods and real-world applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Psychology at Key Stage 5 (A-Level)
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that encourage analytical thinking and discussion
Supporting students in developing strong research and evaluation skills
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Preparing students for external examinations and coursework requirements
Contributing to curriculum planning within the Social Sciences department
Supporting enrichment activities such as debate groups or psychology clubs

Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
Hold a degree in Psychology or a closely related subject
Possess QTS or PGCE
Have experience teaching Psychology at A-Level (or strong subject knowledge suitable for teaching the course)
Demonstrate a passion for the subject and an ability to engage students
Have strong organisational and communication skills
Be committed to supporting student achievement and academic success
