We are seeking a dynamic Virtual Care Business Development Officer to drive the growth and expansion of our virtual healthcare services. This role will focus on identifying new revenue opportunities building strategic partnerships and increasing adoption of virtual care solutions across corporate insurance and individual client segments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of healthcare knowledge and business development experience with the ability to translate clinical services into scalable commercial offerings.
Tasks
Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow the virtual care business.
- Identify new markets and client segments for virtual healthcare services.
- Design and package virtual care offerings for corporate clients insurers and individuals.
- Track industry trends and competitor offerings in telemedicine and digital health.
Sales & Partnerships
Identify and secure new partnerships with:
Corporate organizations
Insurance companies
Health networks
Develop proposals pricing models and contracts for virtual care services.
Lead negotiations and close new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients.
- Ensure successful onboarding and implementation of virtual care services.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities.
Product & Service Development
- Work closely with the clinical and technology teams to refine virtual care offerings.
- Help design new services such as teleconsultations remote monitoring and virtual wellness programs.
- Provide feedback from clients to improve service delivery.
Performance & Reporting
- Track revenue and growth targets for the virtual care business.
- Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline partnerships and business performance.
- Monitor utilization and profitability of virtual services.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Healthcare Management Public Health Medicine or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in business development preferably in healthcare telemedicine insurance or digital health.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and clinical services.
- Experience developing partnerships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a new product line or service offering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical background (e.g. nurse clinical officer doctor or public health professional) or strong healthcare sector experience.
- Experience working with corporates insurers or digital health platforms.
- Familiarity with telemedicine regulations and digital health technologies.
