A leading engineering and technology organisation operating in the industrial and energy sectors is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design development and execution of complex petrochemical and process plant projects contributing to innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute mechanical engineering design for petrochemical and process plant projects
Develop and review mechanical design documentation specifications and calculations
Support project teams with technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle (concept through commissioning)
Oversee equipment selection sizing and integration within plant systems
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards codes and safety regulations
Participate in design reviews risk assessments and value engineering initiatives
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including process electrical and project engineering

Minimum Requirements:

BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7 years experience in petrochemical or process plant design
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in petrochemical facilities
Experience with engineering standards specifications and technical documentation
Proven experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects
Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills
