Job Summary

Introduction

An established and growing firm is seeking a highly organised and client-focused Senior Client Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is committed to delivering accurate financial reporting and exceptional client service. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence while enhancing the overall client experience through proactive communication and trusted financial support.

Requirements include (but are not limited to):

3 5 years experience as a Client Accountant within a financial services environment
Must reside in CBD or the southern suburbs
Preparation of accounts up to Trial Balance including bank reconciliations and journals
VAT submissions statutory returns and related reconciliations
Preparation and review of management accounts and inventory reconciliations
Payroll administration and maintenance of accurate aged payables and receivables
Cash flow management and budgeting support
Review and supervision of junior team members work
Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
Commerce or Financial Degree (advantageous)
Professional Accountant designation (advantageous)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills; Xero experience advantageous
