Job Goal:
Under direction the purpose of the position is to assist the Technology Department with summer upgrades and maintenance of District technology equipment

Qualifications:

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
Must be available to travel to various schools including Amargosa Beatty Gabbs Round Mountain and Tonopah
Must have a valid Nevada driver license
Must pass a reference check mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing

Knowledge:

Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
Knowledge of Windows operating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Knowledge of computer connection to the Internet via Ethernet on Windows
Ability to accurately enter data using a computer keyboard
Ability to read and follow verbal and written directions of technology staff
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
Ability to safely lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
Ability and willingness to comply with all district policies and procedures regarding appropriate access to and use of district computer systems
