Job Summary

Compensation:$17.25per hour
TheEvent Staffassistwith the day-to-day operations of Caramoors Events including assisting with venue load-inassistingguests inside the theaters and on our grounds and guiding vehicles to parking spots. Event Staff playan important rolein our guest experience so this is a great position for someone who is warmfriendlyand outgoing.
Thisposition is seasonal and based on the schedule of Caramoor programs June through August Thursday Sundayafternoonsand evenings.A full schedule of events will be available March 10th at .
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assistin venue setup and cleanup
Direct vehicles toappropriate parkingareas
Control traffic flow between vehicles and pedestrians
Manage guest flow in and out of venue
Help enforce venue policies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ExperienceAbility to learn on the job isa must. No experiencerequired however experience in customer service or working events is a plus. Background or experience in the arts/music is a plus.
- Customer Service and Communication SkillsMust have a friendly and professional attitude and work well with compassionate andaccepting ofthose of different agesbackgroundsand and verbal communication skillsdesired.
- Values and CultureAppreciation for creating an environment that supports all guests to be inspired bymusic;and have a strong commitment to Caramoors mission and values.A sincere interest in musicartsor historya plus.
- Working ConditionsAbility to work in a busy environment with the public maneuver outdoors in all weather conditions on woodland trails gravelpathwaysand lawns. Flexibility to work during weekends and evenings for events. Ability to lift/move up to work in the U.S. isrequired.
