Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to be based in Mutare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing the frame and bodywork of trucks to the required standards while ensuring strict compliance with safety and performance requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication work on truck frames and body panels.
- Interpret blueprints drawings and measurements to plan layouts.
- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure optimal performance.
- Complete job cards and submit accurate reports for all work carried out.
- Monitor adherence to health and safety procedures reporting incidents promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the workshop.
- Carry out any other related duties as assigned by management.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 O Levels including Mathematics and English.
- Certificate in Fabrication/Welding Engineering.
- Journeymans Class 1 card in Boiler Making/Welding.
- Apprentice trained.
