Scope of Project
Provide Accessibility Consulting Document Assessment Remediation Compliance Reporting Training and Strategic Advisory Services under an Indefinite Quantity Contract model (services performed as requested at fixed unit pricing).
The role supports high-volume document remediation primarily PDF files along with Word PPT and Excel documents. All deliverables must align with WCAG 2.1 Level AA Section 508 Americans with Disabilities Act (Title II/III) and PDF/UA and must withstand audit scrutiny from the United States Department of Justice (DOJ).
The engagement operates on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed minimum volume.
Responsibilities:
Manage structured intake process and secure handling of incoming AOC documents
Maintain document tracking version control and workflow dashboards
Ensure compliance with Judicial Information Systems (JIS) Security Policy
Monitor SLA adherence:
Initial response within 2 business days
Remediation turnaround within 5 business days
Source file return within 10 business days
Coordinate high-volume PDF remediation workflows
Review document structure including headings lists tables header associations links alt text forms bookmarks language attributes OCR correction color contrast reading order and artifact removal
Validate remediated documents using CommonLook JAWS and Adobe Acrobat accessibility checker
Ensure each remediated document includes a compliance verification report
Coordinate no-cost corrections if compliance gaps are identified
Support workflow optimization and document creation improvement strategies
Assist in developing standardized operating models and compliance tracking methods
Coordinate virtual accessibility training sessions and related documentation
Maintain audit-ready compliance documentation
Required/Preferred Skills:
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in accessibility consulting and document remediation
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA Section 508 ADA Title II/III and PDF/UA
Experience managing high-volume PDF remediation projects
Familiarity with CommonLook Adobe Acrobat Microsoft Word and JAWS
Experience working in SLA-driven service environments
Strong documentation tracking and workflow coordination skills
Experience in regulated or audit-sensitive environments
Preferred:
Public sector or judicial branch experience
Experience supporting DOJ audit-ready documentation
Familiarity with CJIS or government security compliance frameworks
