We are seeking a skilled Manager Digital Project (Finance Transformation ManagerInvoice-to-Pay) to join our Continuous Improvement -Global Finance Services Division

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield Bangalore -KA India

Job Summary

As an integral part of the Continuous Improvement (CI) Center of Excellence specifically focused on standardization optimization and digitalization thecandidate will support the execution of our continuous improvement framework within the Global Business Services scope with focus but not exclusively on the Invoice-to-Pay processes (ITP). Knowledge and/or experience in Invoice to Pay processes is required: invoice processing payment methodology and remittance advice issuance vendor inquiries and dispute management grief resolution internal controls and collaboration with Procurement/external teams.

What you will do:

Responsibilities may include but are limited to:

• Drive continuous improvement activities including mapping current and future process maps driving corrective actions and developing tracking and measuring qualitative and quantitative results.
• Drive a culture of innovation simplification and continuous improvement through best practice sharing advocacy and hands-on leadership.
• Partner with senior leadership understand business goals analyze opportunities and develop improvement plans for various workflows/systems and technologies.
• Build roadmaps that support the tactical execution of key continuous improvement initiatives across stakeholder teams.
• Ensure consistent application of continuous improvement tools methodologies and best practices to accelerate improvements at scale.
• Identifies and engage subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in continuous improvement.

What you will have:

• Preferred previous consultancy experience (3-5 years)/overall experience 10 to 15 years.
• Knowledge of best practices in invoice processing supplier inquiry & helpdesk design remittance advice issuance vendor inquiries and dispute management
• Knowledge and understanding of the mechanics in the ITP process stream and how these fit into the end-to-end financial process environment.
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office

Project Management skills

• People leadership/management experience
• Diagnostic capabilities to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment and navigate without a formal authority to deliver on business results.
• MSc/MBA in a scientific or business discipline
• Accounting certification or an equivalent combination of related experience
• Working knowledge of financial systems (SAP QAD etc) and ITP specific tools (e.g. OCR Supplier Portals Invoice Workflow tools)

Evaluates risks and vulnerabilities and creates contingency plans.
Advises others on preferred tools techniques and methods for estimating program cost and time.
Conducts regular and ad-hoc program reviews with project managers team and clients.
Coaches others in maintaining open communication among project managers and interested parties.
Oversees reporting requirements and creates monitoring and control mechanisms.
Plans estimates staffs organizes and monitors a set of projects within a program.

Advises on the selection of tools and techniques used for monitoring progress and presenting reports to stakeholders.

Controls multiple IT projects: monitoring progress probing and repairing delays.
Consolidates the progress of many IT projects into a single progress report.
Consults on the principles of Earned Value Analysis across multiple IT projects.

IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan organize monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
Level Extensive Experience:
Controls quality standards and budgeting in an ongoing IT project.
Estimates and appropriately addresses potential issues and risks in IT projects.
Ensures that technical objectives and functional requirements align in all IT projects.
Builds IT related templates for demand analysis and functional reports.
Monitors every step in an IT project to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered on-time.
Directs team members in analyzing client requirements in an appropriate manner.

IT Standards Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies standards and procedures.
Level Extensive Experience:
Evaluates the effectiveness of IT policies through professional group discussions.
Designs organizational IT policies standards and procedures.
Develops templates for designing IT standards and procedures for technical business plans.
Monitors the implementation of IT standards and procedures in IT projects or services.
Manages the process for IT standards and procedures delivery and implementation ensuring the organization is under effective management.
Revises IT policies standards and procedures based on each departments feedback.

Problem Management: Knowledge of the processes involved in problem control error control and the production of management information or computer hardware; ability to identify the root cause of problems in a timely and accurate manner and bring them to a successful resolution.
