Mid- Level Civil & Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking analytical detail-oriented and experienced Civil and Structural Engineers to join our team in Rockville MD/the DMV area. The location will be determined based on site/client office location per opportunity.

• Develop and review civil and/or structural engineering designs for infrastructure projects including roads bridges and water systems
• Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and project feasibility
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate engineering components into larger projects
• Prepare detailed technical reports specifications and construction documents
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any engineering challenges
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on project-related issues
• Ensure compliance with local building codes environmental regulations and safety standards
• Utilize advanced engineering software to create accurate models and simulations
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients contractors and stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• 4-10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and construction
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant structural analysis software
• Strong knowledge of project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated experience with local building codes and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Additional Information :

Proposed Salary: The salary range varies based on the scope of work project location and level of experience and may fall between $80000-$135000 per year commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Other compensation: opportunities for annual increase and bonus and other types of bonuses
