ETL Pipeline Development: Design build and maintain automated Extract Transform Load (ETL) pipelines to move data from diverse sources into central warehouses.
SQL Development & Optimization: Write complex queries stored procedures and triggers while performing performance tuning to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.
Data Transformation: Clean validate and restructure raw data into consistent high-quality formats that meet business reporting requirements.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor job execution resolve errors and investigate pipeline failures to ensure data reliability
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain databases (DB2 z/OS Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL Netezza)
Monitor performance troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis
Manage backup recovery high availability and disaster recovery
Perform installations upgrades patching and performance tuning
Enforce database security compliance and data integrity
Automate DBA tasks using scripting (Python Shell PowerShell)
Support deployments migrations and on-call operations
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams
Experience & Skills
Up to 6 years of DBA experience
Strong knowledge of performance tuning HA/DR and security
Experience with scripting Agile methodologies and distributed systems
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
Preferred
Cloud databases (AWS RDS Azure SQL)
Monitoring/observability tools
Data modeling NoSQL or big data exposure
