The Voice & Messaging (T-VM) organizational unit (Tribe) within Deutsche Telekom Technik GmbH bears overall responsibility for all voice and messaging platforms in the fixed and mobile networks of Deutsche Telekom Technik throughout their lifecycle. The platforms managed by T-VM form the basis for a large part of Telekom Deutschlands core business; therefore our mission is to simultaneously ensure the success-critical factors of stability quality innovation and efficiency. The ACS Squad (Announcement- Control & Supportsystems) is responsible for the full lifecycle of critical IMS components within DT Technik.

Activity description and concrete tasks:

IMS-MRF (Media Resource Function) deployed on Kubernetes

OneiDNS a cloud-native DNS service for all IMS nodes in fixed and mobile networks deployed on Kubernetes

VoIP Support Systems a VMware-based application landscape within the IMS fixed network provisioning chain

We work as a DevOps team taking full responsibility from design and engineering to deployment and operation.

One of our next major challenges is the development of a new AI Calling system built on DT Techniks CaaS Kubernetes platform enabling real-time speech processing and translation within IMS call flows.

To support us on this journey we are looking for a motivated and technically strong colleague to strengthen our team.

Qualifications :

Skill Requirements:

• Good experience with cloud-native technologies and containerized environments
• Strong proficiency with Containers and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands-on experience with IMS architectures and call flows (CSCFs AS MRF)
• Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI)
• Good knowledge of Python and Bash scripting languages
• Structured troubleshooting methodology and root cause analysis capabilities
• Experience with real-time systems and performance optimization in telecommunications environments
• Familiarity with testing and validation frameworks for cloud-native applications

Tools & Platforms:

• SIP and Media debugging tools (Wireshark sngrep)
• Kubernetes management (kubectl Helm)
• CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI Artifactory)
• Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform AWX FluxCD)
• Programming languages (Python Bash)
• Observability and monitoring solutions (Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack)
• Agile collaboration tools (Jira Confluence)
• Container registries and artifact management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI/ML integration in telecommunications or real-time speech processing systems
• Knowledge of Deutsche Telekoms CaaS Kubernetes platform or similar proprietary cloud solutions
