Job Summary
This role is responsible to organize plan/schedule and monitor/control the performance of Central logistics drivers and Rail department train monitoring.
- Responsible for road worthy certificates
- Responsible for public driving permits
- Organizing the services of vehicles
- Daily inspection of vehicles by means of check lists
- Monitoring and organizing logistics movements of mine transport
Qualifications :
- Grade 12
- Be a Certificated train driver
- Complete and passed Surface Railways Rules and Regulations as amended.
- Yard and Siding Layout and Working
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge Organising Planning and Control
- Valid drivers license
- Administrative procedures.
- Communication protocol

- Have knowledge of
- Organizing and controlled train movements
- Facilitated safe abnormal operating and occupations of rail network
- Maintained control documentation and systems
- Administrative procedures.
